The Fight For Animal Freedom

Why should we fight for animal freedom?

The 3 main reasons are to stop animal abuse, to live a healthier life and keep our environment clean and efficient. Click on any subject below to find stunning facts that have been kept from you. These should not be neglected, because that's the only way we can start making this world a better place.

Animals deserve rights, regardless of how they taste or how convenient it is to experiment on them. Like humans, animals are capable of suffering and have an interest in leading their own lives. They are not ours to use for food, clothing, experimentation, or entertainment. Vegetarian foods provide us with all the nutrients that we need, minus the saturated fat, cholesterol, and contaminants that are found in meat, eggs, and dairy products. Plant-based diets protect us against heart disease, diabetes, obesity, strokes, and several types of cancer. Vegetarians also have stronger immune systems and, on average, live 10 years longer than meat-eaters do. America’s meat addiction is poisoning and depleting our potable water, arable land, and clean air. More than half the water used in the United States goes to animal agriculture, and since farmed animals produce 130 times more excrement than the human population does, the run-off from their waste greatly pollutes our waterways.

Chickens, pigs and other animals? They are interesting individuals with personalities and intelligence. What people need to understand is that if they're eating animals, they are promoting cruelty to animals.
